Sri Sri Ramanuja Trust: Nurturing Dharma, Unity, and Upliftment in Modern Times

Sri Sri Ramanuja Trust

Tiruvannamalai, Andhra Pradesh – At a time when the world races forward, often leaving behind the wisdom of our roots, Sri Sri Ramanuja Trust stands as a sacred reminder that true progress lies in compassion, righteousness, and community service. Founded on 6th October 2012 by the deeply spiritual and socially committed Sri Madakala Vasudeva Reddy, the Trust has become a vibrant center of dharmic living and social transformation.

From cow protection to free food distribution, from spiritual service to community development, the Trust is touching thousands of lives—not through fame or force, but through silent, unwavering seva.

The Man Behind the Mission: A Journey from Protest to Purpose
Long before Sri Sri Ramanuja Trust was established, Sri Vasudeva Reddy had already chosen a path of service. As the first and only postgraduate in his family—earning his degree in Political Science from Acharya Nagarjuna University—he believed education was not just for employment, but for empowerment.

His turning point came in 2001 during the by-elections in Badvel Constituency. With courage and clarity, he fought for the rights of Scheduled Castes, demanding a polling booth for them—a demand ignored for two decades. Despite threats and resistance, he succeeded, backed by Dr. V. Sivaramakrishna Rao and the visionary support of Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

That moment wasn’t just political—it was spiritual. It laid the ethical foundation for what would become a lifetime commitment to dharma, truth, and seva.

The Heart of the Trust: A Temple of Peace, A Home for All
At the center of this movement stands the Sri Raja Rajeswari Ammavari Temple, where devotion meets action. Every day, the temple offers prasadam, Vedic rituals, and a warm welcome to people from all walks of life—irrespective of caste, creed, or class.

Adjacent to the temple is a vibrant Goshala, home to over 70 cows. Here, Goseva is not a formality—it is a sacred act, a prayerful expression of gratitude to the divine nature of the cow in Sanatana Dharma.

The Pillars That Hold It All Together

Where Every Donation is a Promise, and Every Action is Pure
The Trust operates with complete transparency and integrity. Donations go directly into service activities—be it Annadanam, Goshala upkeep, or temple rituals. With detailed records and sincere accountability, the Trust has earned not just respect, but the love of thousands who consider it their spiritual home.

From Politics to Paramartha: A Life Devoted to the People
After his early political victories, Sri Vasudeva Reddy took a bold step—he renounced politics in 2004. Why? Because he realized true change doesn’t come from positions of power—it comes from the ground, from educating a child, feeding the hungry, and walking the path of dharma.

His message is simple yet profound:
“Let no child be denied education. Let no person sleep hungry. Let our lives reflect the light of dharma.”
