From Struggles to Success: A Story of Grit and Determination
Shaik Waseem, a Hyderabad-based entrepreneur, embodies resilience and self-made success. Despite facing academic setbacks—dropping out after 7th grade and later failing two subjects (English and Math) in his open 10th exam—he never let obstacles define his future.
His career began in 2007 as a sales executive at Reliance Coin Box, where he quickly displayed exceptional talent. Within his first month, he won three Best Sales Executive Awards, proving his natural ability in sales and business.
From ₹20 Lakh Monthly Turnover to Rock Bottom
By the age of 20, Waseem had built his own business, generating a monthly turnover of ₹20 lakh+ between 2010 and 2014. However, in August 2014, a major fraud wiped out everything he had built.
Left jobless and penniless, he had no choice but to take up daily wage labor for just ₹200 per day. During this tough time, he walked 7-8 km every day to save ₹20 on transport, just so he could afford his basic needs. But even in these difficult moments, he never lost hope.
Rebuilding with New Skills: The Security Systems Journey
Determined to rise again, Waseem learned security system installation, including:

✅ Video Door Systems
Within just two months, he became the most valuable technician in his company.
In March 2016, he moved to Dubai in search of better opportunities, but after months of struggle, he returned to India in July 2016 with zero money, carrying only a tester and a screwdriver.
Instead of giving up, he started working independently, finding new customers, and rebuilding his business. Within 2-3 months, he successfully re-established himself and launched Advance Security System.
To expand his business, he invested ₹18,000 per month in JustDial ads, growing from Hyderabad to Aurangabad. However, due to unforeseen challenges, he had to return to Hyderabad and continue his entrepreneurial journey.
The Shift to Digital Marketing and Online Success
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Waseem realized the power of online businesses and started trading in forex and metals, making it his side business.
